babcock-ranch-swamp-buggyBabcock Ranch Swamp Buggy Eco Tour

11:00am – 1:30pm Sat 10 Mar 2018

The Harvard Club of Lee County invites you and members of the Yale and Princeton Clubs of Lee County to enjoy this wildlife adventure. Join us for lunch (optional) after the tour at the on-site Gator Shack Restaurant.

The Babcock Ranch is a working beef cattle ranch enmeshed in a wildlife nature preserve covering 115 square miles. Our 90 minute tour will take us through ranch pasture land, palmetto prairies, pine forests and cypress swamps. In addition to gators and water fowl, wild turkeys and pigs are common. This is Florida au natural, before settlers arrived. After the tour, a group lunch buffet is offered in a pavilion near the Gator Shack Restaurant. This is optional, but highly recommended.
